Ivel Project
Thank you for taking part in the Ivel Project and exploring the handmade Memory Box.
The Ivel Project is about discovering, preserving and sharing the history, memories and stories of the River Ivel and the communities
along its banks.
The handmade Memory Box represents a link between the past and the present. It encompasses traditional craft and personal memories, brought together with modern technology.
We want to rediscover the hidden or forgotten stories, people, places, traditions and memories that have helped shape our community, and preserve them for future generations.
With a tap of your mobile phone, you can help bring these memories into the 21st century by sharing your photographs, stories, videos and local knowledge as part of a growing digital community archive.
Please click on the links below for more about the project and the archive.
Instructions on how to get involved and the online form are at the bottom of this page.
